Deleting your data
You can delete your account and the data associated with it at any time. This page describes both routes.
Route 1: In your account
- Open Settings.
- In the “Data & privacy” section, choose “Delete account”. If you own artists, venues, crews, event series or events, the app first offers to hand them over to another account; you can skip this. We then send a six digit code to your e-mail address; the deletion only runs once you enter that code.
Route 2: By post
You may also request deletion in writing. Send your request to the address given in the legal notice and state the e-mail address your account was created with, so that we can identify it.
What is deleted
Your account, your profile, your credentials, the follow relationships you set, your own memberships, and every management right you held on other profiles.
What remains
Artist profiles that belonged to you stay in the database but are permanently no longer publicly reachable. That is deliberate: line-ups of past events should remain correct. Venues, crews, event series and upcoming events lose their owner and can be taken over by another registered person; past events remain unchanged. Where someone else entered your name as free text on a profile, it stays there — that entry belongs to their profile, not to your account. Information we are legally required to retain is kept for the length of the respective period and blocked from further use.
When it happens
The deletion runs immediately after the code confirms it. Backups still covering that period are overwritten as part of the normal backup cycle.
Beforehand: take your data with you
In the settings you can download your data as a file before deleting. Do it before you delete — afterwards it is no longer possible.
